This replacement neck is for a Fender or Squier® by Fender guitar.īecause Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. The nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing, and a satin finish on the back offers smooth playability. DescriptionĬrafted at our Ensenada, Mexico, manufacturing facility, this genuine Fender Baritone Sub-Sonic Telecaster® guitar neck will convert your standard scale length guitar into a 27” scale length baritone! Features a comfortable "modern C" profile and 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. Yep here's a description from the Dealer's site. I'm a little GASsy waiting for them to be released! Has anyone here had their hands or eyes on one? Maybe from NAMM?

Not a deal killer, but keeping it simple is great here. There are a few options out there, but to be honest, I want the truss rod accessible from the headstock and really don't want to pay at least $300 for a Warmoth, which is a little longer scale and may require moving the bridge. My Bass VI is 30" scale (to long for bari, IMO) and too low tuned (E-E is a happy place for it), and my Ibanez RG 7 string is too short (at 25.5") and different (well, 7 strings). I already have a Strat body and all necessary parts laying around and have always wanted to make a proper baritone. MIM and seems that the profile and features will be right in line with the Standards/Players necks and should just bolt/screw right on to a typical neck pocket.

They will be available for both Strats or Teles. Just found out about this a couple days ago and this is cool news to me.
